Choose Between Two Options
- $49 for a one-hour horseback ride Monday–Thursday plus 30 minutes of instruction (a $165 value)
- $49 for a one-hour horseback ride Friday–Sunday (a $98 value)
When riders arrive, they gather for a brief course in basic horsemanship; those who opt for the 30-minute lesson receive additional instruction in different mounting techniques and technical skills. Groups of six set out on trail rides down the ranch’s meandering miles of pathways and hard-packed dirt tracks, enjoying wind-blown grasses, ocean-bound streams, dense foliage, and the occasional fauna from the saddle of one of the stable's many reliable trail horses.
Riders should arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled ride time, wearing closed-toed shoes, long pants, and sunscreen; helmets are provided. Water bottles are not allowed on the ride, but customers may store theirs in the ranch's fridge for post-ride thirst-quenching. Be sure to check out the stable’s recommended directions, as GPS systems have been known to lead visitors down ocean currents flowing the wrong way.
