Maroosh features an ergonomic menu designed to promote comfort and postpone feasting fatigue. While you peruse the succulent lineup, enjoy the tasteful entertainment of belly dancers floating through the restaurant like welcome apparitions. Kick off your feast with a platter of fried white cheese ($6.95) or freshly prepped baba ghannouj ($5.95). Pass the plates to pass the time while you wait for your swiftly but carefully made-to-order main course. Equip your arm-feet with a pair of succulent skewers of lamb ($20.95) or beef ($18.95) kabobs. Or trade skewers for a knife and fork by ordering up the pepper steak ($24.95) or highly regarded rack of lamb ($26.95) Non-meat-eaters can reach for the vegetable curry (peas, carrots, and potatoes mixed with curry and spices, $13.95) or baked mousaka (sautéed eggplant topped with a mixture of tomatoes and chick peas, $15.95). Stop in for lunch for a variety of light meals such as falafel ($5.95), gyros ($6.95), and kebab specialties ($8.95–$10.95).
Pepper some exquisite wines or champagne into your meal to stimulate and lubricate conversation. Order by the glass ($7–$10) or series of bottled-up glasses ($25–$120). Maroosh also offers a wide range of beers and non-alcoholic beverages such as bottled water, coffee, sodas, and the traditional yran yogurt drink. Sip from the succulent moat surrounding a stocked castle of cuisine filled with fresh eats and belly-dancing maidens.

- Lamb is a star here: An entrée of lamb medallions ($16.95) is thinly sliced boneless loin of lamb, grilled to order and topped with tomato, onion and green pepper, with rice and carrots, as well. Meaty and tender. – Miami Herald
