A bottle of fine wine is like a well-hewn baseball bat—after using it to hit a home run or demolish an illegally parked scooter, the inner juices flow out and fill the user’s mouth with celebration. Unbottle your enthusiasm with today’s Groupon for Gary Vaynerchuk's Wine Library. Choose from the following options:

  • $30 for one bottle of wine (up to a $72.48 value)
  • $99 for three bottles of wine (up to a $151.05 value)

Shipping (up to $13 for one bottle and up to $19 for three) and tax are included in this Groupon; rates vary by state. Wine will be shipped within three business days of ordering.

Gary Vaynerchuk stocks his New Jersey–based Wine Library with vintages and varietals from around the world. Employing an unconventional, sometimes irreverent style of commentary, Gary features wines on the Wine Library TV blog, where misperceptions and shady stereotypes about wine are corked away forever in dusty mind cellars.

Customers can choose to use today’s deal for a single bottle of 2004 Bugay Vineyards cabernet sauvignon ($58.98), a California wine with tastes of dark cherry and black plum, which pair well with cheese and beef. In Gary's review, he calls Bugay an "up-and-coming" winery and says the 2004 cab is ready to drink now or could age another 2-3 years. With a wine trinity, however, customers can triple their own merriment or they can share their grape preserves with a few friends. The three-bottle option includes a 2007 Monteviejo Lindaflor malbec ($39.98), a 2008 Finca Arantei albarino ($14.98), and a 2003 Andrew Geoffrey cabernet sauvignon ($75.98), which Gary calls "a spectacular, well-structured, classic Cabernet" that earns its price point with flavor and intensity, not with its pedigree.

Gary, who has made appearances on many popular television shows, first realized the allure of collecting wine while working in the family liquor store as he was growing up, and he trained his palate to recognize wine-related flavors by sampling obscure fruit, grass, dirt, and wood. Now a respected wine expert who enthusiastically educates his viewers via video blogs, Gary rebranded the old family business as the Wine Library and splashed it with success. Arrive at the neighbor's next potluck with the winningest side dish, or stock the wine rack in your sister's RV with the fruits of today’s Groupon.

Reviews

The Wine Library and its owner, Gary Vaynerchuk, have been featured in numerous television shows and magazines, including New York magazine and New Jersey Monthly. The New York Daily News featured the Wine Library as well. More than 32,250 Facebookers are fans of the business’s show, Wine Library TV, and Yelpers give Wine Library an average of 4.5 stars:

  • But here's a guy who grew up around wine, trained his palate backwards (tasting all the fruits and grasses and other things people detect in a glass of wine as a teenager), and is head-over-heels passionate about the subject. – Jessica Kitchin, New Jersey Monthly
  • The best wine selection I have ever come across. What I can't find anywhere else I can find here. – Jim B., Yelp

Groupon Says

Whyne?

In a culture with so many beverage choices, many available in Gulp and Big Gulp sizes, why would anyone need wine? The truth is, many of those other beverage options have terrible, terrible secrets.

Water: This building block of all life is often frozen to serve as the building block of all Antarctic super-prisons.
Juice: Actually fruit blood.
Soda: A nutritionally barren carbonated drink containing lab-synthesized flavoring and inefficiently sweetened with high-fructose corn syrup.
Yoo-Hoo: Anything that delicious is clearly from space.
