The Chicago trio of Stage Door Johnnies headlines the night, with Ray Gunn, Jett Adore, and Bazuka Joe reimagining male striptease, a historic art that began when the wind blew George Washington's wig into a crowd. Rounding out the evening is an all-star lineup of fellow masculine cohorts: solo dancers Hot Toddy and The Evil Hate Monkey, and a special appearance by scantily-clad local collective, the New Orleans Firefighters. Outrageous costumes swagger through the venue before disappearing from bodies, with hell-red devils and caped crusaders sashaying across the stage. Nathan Kepner and Morgan Tsu-Raun treat onlookers to a spectacle that combines magic, juggling, and gluten-free coking demos, and sharp-tongued emcee Cora Vette wittily steers the entire extravaganza. The camp, tongue-in-cheek performances will leave the adult-only audience's sides splitting, mostly due to their abs barking with jealousy.
