Today's Groupon offers a pole-based exercise more effective than 1920s pole sitting, more energizing than pole-vaulting, and more sensual than polenta: for $20, you get two pole-dancing or pole boot camp classes at Cherry Blossom Pole Dancing Studio (a $50 value).
The chic pole-dancing palace offers a fun and encouraging environment for newcomers and veterans alike to improve upon their pole-swinging, pole-climbing, and pole-sensually spinning arts. Cherry Blossom offers seven different levels of dancing classes in its colourful great room, which comes equipped with vibrant décor, 11 shiny poles, and an expert instructor ready to show you the moves. Not only will you increase your sexiness through osmosis and the help of a few slick new swings, you'll also build muscle strength, work your core, and tone and define your body's luscious curves and sexy sharp angles. If a hard-core cardio workout is more your style, opt for the pole boot camp class, which integrates pole-dancing moves and strength training to help improve your overall fitness level. All of Cherry Blossom's classes are limited to 10 students or less, so you can ensure you'll receive the personal attention your formerly neglectful math teacher never gave you.
Cherry Blossom's bright and flirty space boasts a pink and green colour theme and is a welcoming and low-pressure environment for women of all shapes, sizes, genders, and pizza-topping preferences to sweat, swing, and shake. Call ahead to register, and check out the FAQs to prepare.
You must take your second class within 30 days of attending your first. Participants must be 18 or older.

Groupon Says
From the Criterion Collection of '80s Music Videos
Pole-dancing classes are a great thing to have on your resume when applying to be in an ‘80s hair band’s music video. Maybe your video will be as good as the video for “Ladies Day (The Night is My Right Tonight)” by LionRanger, the highlights of which include:
- A teenage boy is brought home by his parents from the high-school tight-pants party and is grounded for what his sleeveless jean jacket is doing to the community.
- As the boy broods in his room, he is visited by Joey “Snakes” Lampelli, lead shrieker of LionRanger, who transports him (via teleporting lion-chariot) to an even better party in a factory that is full of cascading sparks and slow-motion women.
- The party reaches its apex as lead guitarist Tommy Gunderson, an unnamed bassist, and the boy are rocking so hard that an earthquake rends the factory asunder, the ensuing chasm swallowing the teenager.
- The adolescent falls screaming through the black void. He wakes up wearing headphones in his bed. It was all a dream…or was it? The camera pans down to show LionRanger’s trademark guitar shaped like a drum set lying on the floor.
