What is a G-Pass™?
G-Pass™ tickets from Groupon grant you direct admission to some of your favorite live entertainment events. For shows using G-Pass tickets, just print your G-Pass, by-pass the box office, proceed directly to your gate and take your seat - no need to redeem a Groupon voucher for a ticket at the box office before the show!

Do all live events use G-Pass™ tickets?
No. Unfortunately, at this time, only select events use G-Pass™ tickets. If the deal page does not specify that G-Pass™ tickets will be issued, you'll need to exchange your voucher for a ticket at the venue.

I bought the G-Pass™ deal. Now what?
After we’ve processed your payment, you'll receive an email receipt confirming your purchase. Please allow up to 48 hours after the deal closes for your email receipt to arrive, and your G-Pass to be available to print in your account. That email will explain how to print your G-Pass ticket. The G-Pass ticket will display the name of the purchaser, seating information, and other information necessary for redeeming it. We strongly recommend you print your G-Pass ticket to use it for entry to the event.

How do I exchange my Groupon voucher for tickets?
If you have a Groupon voucher rather than a G-Pass™ ticket, you must, print the voucher (or pull it up with our mobile app) and present it at the box office at the venue with a photo ID on the day of the event or on specified dates prior to the event. The venue will match your ID with the name on the voucher, scan the voucher, and issue your ticket. Please review the deal’s Fine Print for details and as ever, you can always review the redemption instructions on your voucher for details on how to use it for admission to the event.

How will tickets be distributed and how will my seat be assigned?
It depends. Read the offer’s Fine Print and other applicable terms carefully before you buy tickets. For select events, you'll receive a G-Pass ticket, which will include your seating information, unless the event is General Admission, and is your ticket. We strongly recommend you print your G-Pass to use it for entry to the event. If the deal page does not specify that G-Pass ticketing is used, you must exchange your voucher for a ticket. Tickets are usually distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at ticket pick up. Seating may be assigned on a first-purchased, first-served basis.

How do I purchase GrouponLive tickets or G-Passes™ as gifts?
Just enter the intended recipient’s name in the “additional information” field at checkout. Unless the event's deal page specifies that G-Pass ticketing is used, the individual whose name is displayed on the Groupon vouchers must redeem the Groupon vouchers for tickets. If you need to change the name on a Groupon voucher, you can contact our customer service team at (877) 788-7858 or contact us here until one day prior to the event. Please note that requests to change the name on a Groupon voucher will not be honored if they are submitted less than 24 hours before the event.

May I sit with friends who also bought their tickets through Groupon?
Although all Groupon customers who purchase tickets to live events through our service will be seated in the same section, it’s best to purchase tickets in groups of the quantity desired if you want to attend an event with a group. If you go to the box office together to exchange your Groupon vouchers for tickets, the venue will do its best to accommodate group seating. Please note that group seating is not guaranteed, but is more easily accommodated if you pick your tickets up with the group you want to sit with. Please review the deal’s Fine Print for other specific details.

Can I sit with my friends if I buy a G-Pass™?
Yes, but one person must purchase G-Pass tickets from Groupon.com for all the intended members of your group in the same transaction in order for you to be able to sit together.

I have friends attending the same event but they did not buy tickets through Groupon. Can we still sit together?
All Groupon customers will be seated in the same section, so attendees who purchased vouchers through any other service will not be seated with you. We apologize for any inconvenience.

What time does the box office open?
It depends. Please review the deal terms and redemption instructions on your voucher for pick-up details. Please check with the venue directly to confirm box office hours, but they typically open several hours prior to showtime. However some box offices are also open days in advance of the event and will allow you to pick up your tickets early.

May I request Handicap Accessible Tickets?
Most of the venues that host events featured on Groupon are handicap accessible. Before you purchase tickets to any event, contact the venue to verify if all the tickets being offered through Groupon will meet your specific needs. All venues are happy to accommodate anyone with a disability but we still recommend verifying specifics before purchasing any ticket.

May I use someone else’ s ticket?
No – tickets are issued to named individuals and may not be transferred to anyone else. Each Groupon voucher is printed with a single person’s name and a ticket is reserved at the venue's box office under that name. The venue will only release tickets after verifying that the name on the voucher matches the valid photo ID presented by the person claiming it. If multiple vouchers are purchased under one person’s name, then the named individual must present his or her valid ID to redeem the tickets.

May I change the name of the person who can use the ticket?
If you need to change the name on a Groupon voucher, you can contact our customer service team at (877) 788-7858 or contact us here until one day prior to the event. Please note that requests to change the name on a ticket will not be honored if they are submitted less than 24 hours before the event.

Can I upgrade my seats?
Unfortunately, no. The tickets Groupon is able to offer to its customers at such a great discount are for seats in a special section of the venue at a uniform price level that varies by event. If there are different pricing and seating options available for purchase through Groupon, you are encouraged to pick the option that best suits you. Otherwise, all tickets available through Groupon are valid only for the identified section.
Can I get a refund?
Only if you act quickly! Unlike most vouchers that you purchase through Groupon, tickets purchased through Groupon are only refundable on the day of purchase. Please review our Extraordinary Events Policy for details on refund exceptions.
Where will my seats be located?
Before you purchase any ticket, read the deal’s terms! Among other important details about the event, you can find the section of the venue in which tickets purchased through Groupon are located by clicking the link to the venue's seating chart.

Is parking or anything else included with admission?
If parking or other amenities or refreshments are included with admission to the event, it will be listed in the deal’s Fine Print and printed on the face of the voucher.
Is tax included?
Check the deal’s terms before you buy tickets to any event. Most tickets that you purchase through Groupon’s service will include all fees. If fees and taxes are not included, that information will be specifically disclosed in the deal’s Fine Print and printed on the face of the voucher.

Your “Buy” button brought me to a third party site and now I need help with my purchase. What do I do?
If the “Buy” button takes you directly to a third-party site and you purchased a ticket directly from that company, please contact that company for further information regarding your order. Please read our External Site FAQs
Do you have a best-price guarantee?
Unfortunately, we are not in a position to make that promise. Groupon works with great promoters and venues to offer you amazing opportunities to attend live concerts and events at remarkable discounts. When these merchants offer their tickets though our services, we advertise a discounted ticket price based on the tickets’ price at the time the deal is offered that reflects a savings based on the merchants’ then-current ticket prices. Because of the way that the live event industry works, if the event you buy tickets does not sell out, some of the merchants that we work with may release unsold tickets at an even deeper discount than the advance price of the tickets you purchased through Groupon.com. Buying tickets in advance ensures that you will get tickets that are discounted at the time you purchase them, but please be aware that we do not control the pricing or inventory management decisions of the venues and producers with whom we work
