Trying to capture the ghost of Ulysses S. Grant is a popular yet futile family activity. Experience slightly more assured wholesome entertainment with today's deal: for $15, you get $35 toward any activity at Wildwood Highlands family fun center in Wildwood, a 23-minute drive north of downtown. Test your blind date's openness to family fun early on, or shake things up with your corporate board by holding your next meeting in bumper boats.

Your Groupon can be used Monday through Friday toward any activity you can find (some are only visible with a mail-order decoder ring). Many of the park's multitudinous activities run on a ticket system, including: go-karts, bumper boats, Woody's Den, Kiddie City indoor playground, Water Wars, and Laser Extreme. Tickets are $1 each if purchasing 10 or less tickets. You can get 25 tickets for $20 or 67 tickets for $50. Give rival brothers the chance to safely duke it out over the course of 15–20 minutes on the laser playing field (six tickets per game). Take a five-minute wiz around the 1,000-foot go-kart track in a single-driver kart (six tickets) or driver-and-passenger (seven tickets) kart, which is perfect for youngins to tag along. Declare water war by heaving water-filled balloons at loved ones or hiring nearby lackeys to do your bidding (three tickets for a bucket).

With activities for young children, medium children, and adult children, Wildwood Highlands is like a Toys"R"Us in Neverland—no matter how hard you try, growing up is out of the question. Make sure to bring your camera, and don't forget to grab some extra digital to capture every hole-in-one, laser blast, controlled boat collision, and the rare swarm of albino locusts that sometimes roams the ground looking for trouble and fun. But mostly trouble.

Reviews

Instead of writing reviews, customers typically return home to attempt to build an amusement park in their backyards that will measure up to Wildwood Highlands, but three Yahoo! Locals and one excited Facebook fan give glowing reviews:

  • I think that wildwood highlands is a great place to hang out with friends specailly [sic] little kids. they have so much fun. it can also be for anyone of any age!!!!! i always have a great time when i go there – Yahoo! Local User
  • Good for the Kids: I recommend Wildwood Highlands for kids 13 and under mostly. The two mini-golf courses are fairly nice and it's always fun to ride the go-karts or bumper boats…Wildwood's arcade is decent, a long with a laser tag arena which is appealing to any age group. – Yahoo! Local User
  • This place is da BOMB!!!!!!!! – Blake Rutledge, Facebook

Groupon Says

Vicious and Valiant at the Amusement Park

Wildwood Highlands is a place where your childhood dreams of amusement lay at your fingertips, but just because you get to feel like a kid, doesn’t mean you should act like one. Here’s a guide to proper park behavior featuring opposite-attitudeded children Vicious and Valiant:

At the Spinning Tea Cups Valiant: Spins calmly and closes his eyes when he feels sick.
Vicious: Was planning to throw up even before he got there and was just looking for an excuse.

At the Bumper Boats Valiant: Makes eye contact with other drivers before playfully ramming them.
Vicious: Brings a baseball bat.

At Laser Tag Valiant: Is conscious of younger players and wishes everyone a “job well done.”
Vicious: Corrals an army of younger players to take over the rest of the park with laser weapons and fierce bites.

At the Go-Karts Valiant: Slows his speed to make tight turns.
Vicious: Was planning to throw up even before he got there and was just looking for an excuse.
