What is Groupon Rewards?

Rewards is an easy way to earn a Rewards voucher by spending a certain amount of money at participating businesses. Groupon will track how much money you spend at participating businesses using a credit or debit card that is registered to your Groupon account and enrolled in Rewards. When you reach a preset spending amount, you will receive a Rewards voucher to use at that business.

How can I join Rewards?

You can sign up at http://rewards.groupon.com. If you’re not an existing Groupon customer you will be required to create a Groupon account, register a credit or debit card and sign up for Rewards.

How does it work?

1)Any money you spend at a participating business while using a credit or debit card that is registered in your Groupon account counts towards earning a Rewards voucher for that business. 2)You can track your progress by clicking on the “My Rewards” tab in your Groupon customer account or through Groupon’s iPhone and Android mobile applications. 3)Once you spend the predetermined amount, you will be notified that your Reward is “unlocked” in your “My Groupons” or “My Rewards” section of your account. You can then redeem that Rewards voucher just like any other Groupon.

Can I enroll my debit/bank card for Rewards?

Yes, debit/bank cards that have the Visa or MasterCard logo on them can be used if they are processed as “credit”.

Is there a cost for participating in Rewards?

It’s free to customers!

How do I know if a business is participating in Rewards?

Participating businesses are listed at http://rewards.groupon.com or you can find them on Groupon’s mobile app or look for the Groupon Rewards sticker at the business.

How can I unlock a reward?

You can unlock a reward by spending money at a participating business and reaching a pre-set spending amount, but only with a Rewards-enrolled credit or debit card that is registered to your Groupon account.

How can I track my spending progress?

Check your progress through the “My Rewards” tab in your Groupon customer account and Groupon’s iPhone and Android mobile applications.

How long does it take for my progress to update after a purchase?

It may take up to 7 days from the date of purchase.

What if I am missing a purchase?

You can contact our Customer Support Team either via phone or by sending an e-mail to support@groupon.com.

Where do I find my unlocked Reward?

Your unlocked Rewards vouchers can be found on the “My Rewards” or “My Groupons” tab in your Groupon customer account or through Groupon’s iPhone and Android mobile applications.

How much time do I have to redeem a Rewards deal once unlocked?

It is listed on the Rewards voucher.

Am I automatically enrolled in Rewards?

No, you have to register for the Program at http://rewards.groupon.com. You will not be enrolled in Groupon Rewards and Groupon will not have access to your purchases unless you register.

Does Groupon track all my purchases at a Rewards business?

Yes, all purchases made with Rewards-enrolled credit or debit card(s) will be tracked.

Is my personal credit card information safe?

We use a very safe method to track your purchases. Your credit card number is transmitted by SSL directly to a secure electronic vault. At no time is your credit card information stored on our servers.

What happens if I cancel or change my credit card? Do I lose my Rewards Progress?

No, your progress is tied to your Groupon account. If you cancel or change your credit card information, you will not lose your Rewards progress. You can register multiple credit cards for Rewards

What if I no longer want to participate in Rewards?

Go to your “My Rewards” section in your Groupon account and select “Opt Out”.
