In a Nutshell

Veteran NBA roster seeks to reassert dominance in competitive Western Conference with returning players such as Tim Duncan & Tony Parker

The Fine Print

Though still a lurking danger on the basketball court, the killer crossover has become less frequent since 1980, when Pete "Pistol" Maravich retired to become Front Porch Lemonade Pete. Witness lethal dribble drives with today's GrouponLive deal to see the San Antonio Spurs at the AT&T Center. All games start at 7:30 p.m. Choose between the following seating options:

  • For $26, you get one ticket package with seating in sections 200–231 (up to a $53 total value).
  • For $65, you get one ticket package with seating in sections 102–113 or 116–127 (up to a $137 total value).

Each ticket package includes the following:

  • One hot dog (up to a $5 value)
  • One bag of chips (up to a $3 value)
  • One soda (up to a $3 value)

For each ticketing option, choose between the following games:

The four-time NBA champions San Antonio Spurs splash back into the hardwood waters for this year's compressed 66-game season. With three battles against Western Conference foes, the veteran roster seeks to reassert itself in the conference by cutting additional holes into opponents' nets. Tim Duncan continues to man the middle while Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker police the perimeter. From the 200 or 100 levels, eyes will trace the orange orb's path as it caroms off the backboard, bouncing toward Richard Jefferson and his spring-loaded fingers, which fired from the three-point line last season with 44% accuracy.

During time-outs and breaks in the action, the Silver Dancers keep the arena rocking with help from Coyote, a mascot known for growling, giving out hugs, and baying at the moon before belly-flopping from the rafters.

Though the San Antonio Spurs offer a limited number of ticket packages including food at certain games, this Groupon still represents the best deal available.

The Groupon Guide to: Forgotten Video Games

As more and more video games are rebooted, sequeled, and adapted into hit procedural dramas and breakfast pastries, some 8-bit classics have fallen by the wayside. What are some classic video games you forgot to remember?

Battle Brothers (ActivoVision, 1989): In this high-octane punch 'em up, two rad brothers (Clint and Vortex) must survive a concrete gauntlet in order to rescue the president’s stolen bike.
Forgotten Fact: In Battle Brothers, both players could accidentally cause damage to each other, resulting in exciting real-life fistfights between real-life brothers.

Swords & Squares (Dønderhuff ElectroPublishing, 1981): This brain-enhancing game of medieval strategy pits dueling royal courts against each other, and bestows players with a dot-matrix certificate at the end that assigns performance-based ranks, ranging from Knight of the Round to Horsepox Survivor.
Forgotten Fact: Game is essentially chess.

Olympics® '87! (Pixellius, 1986): You play as Torcho®, the Olympic Torch®, as he is passed hand-to-hand between different athletes on his globetrotting journey. Don’t tip over and set their sweat-slicked hair ablaze!
Forgotten Fact: Not affiliated with the Olympics in any way, Olympics® '87 holds the record for video game most frequently mentioned in court transcripts.
