Explorer Ponce de León abandoned his quest to discover the mythical land of wine after a tumble into the Fountain of Youth left him eternally underage. Take up his journey with today’s Groupon to Sunrider Tours in Temecula. Choose between the following options:

• For $299, you get a private three-hour wine tasting tour for up to six people Monday–Friday (up to a $525 value).
• For $299, you get a private three-hour wine tasting tour for up to six people on Saturday or Sunday (up to a $525 value).

The last tour of the day departs at 2:30 p.m. Monday through Sunday.

The knowledgeable guides at Sunrider Tours lead grape-curious parties on customized journeys through wine country in their bright yellow, open-air Jeeps. With many wineries in Temecula's immediate surrounds, oenophilic tourists may select which sites they would like to visit or defer to the guide's Ouija board to create their outing's itinerary. Moving at their own pace, most groups conquer three locations in three hours with complimentary tastings at Danza del Sol Winery, Stuart Cellars Winery, or Robert Renzoni Vineyards. Sipping fees at other vino venues typically range from $10–$15 per person. Though a meal is not included in this adventure, guests are welcome to bring their own snacks, nibbles, or 50-pound wheels of cheese.

Groupon Says

The Groupon Guide to: Winning Casino Games

Slot Machines: The fundamentals of this classic game remain largely unchanged: pull a lever to activate a scrolling panoply of numbers and fruit. If you happen to stop on a winning combination, the machine will belch treasure into your bucket. How to Win: If your slot machine is Star Wars themed, feed your coins directly into the mouth-slit of C-3PO. If you are not currently playing on a Star Wars-themed machine, the first question to ask yourself is: why not? They are available.

Roulette: This whirling game of chance challenges gamblers to predict the destination of a rollicking white marble after it is belched onto a spinning wheel emblazoned with numbered, colored grooves (18 red, 18 black, one violet).
How to Win: The roulette marble can't land in the wrong square if it doesn't land at all. Make the white marble disappear by unleashing its natural predator—a hungry, hungry hippo.

Baccarat: Appears to be some kind of card game.
How to Win: If you know the rules to baccarat, try playing against literally any opponent. You will most likely win this game of baccarat.

  • Not only were the tastings relaxed and unpretentious, but we got a tour of the vineyards themselves and a lesson on the whole winemaking process.
