A Market Ghost Tour reveals a fascinating side of the region's history, blending the realms of reality and lore by luring pedestrian curiosities into the unknown. Highly informative tour guides relish in the sharing of local ghost stories inspired by seeds of suspicion and mysterious encounters with paranormal forces. Experience the thrill of constant suspense while learning the intriguing tales of tragic figures doomed to an afterlife of specterhood. Haunted locations resonate with the static buzz of surrounding clairvoyance as non-believers drop the "non-" under the influence of ominous darkness blended with the power of vivid poltergeist narratives.
After the tour ends, flip through tour guide/ordained minister Mercedes Yaeger's Market Ghost Stories for exciting supplemental material and plenty of fodder for future ghost-swapping meet-ups. Groupon Says
Are Ghosts Real?
Despite the mountains of papers generated by scientists and the findings of the 1910 Governor's Association's Council on the Existence of Paraspectral Entities, the scientific community has yet to end definitively one of mankind's foremost debates: Are ghosts real?
For years, presidents, who traditionally serve as the nation's Commander of the Science Army, have been complaining about frequent hauntings in the White House (such hauntings are believed to be the work of ghosts). With the indubitable scientific prowess of the president as an impetus, many scientists began to investigate the existence of ghosts, only to find that their Erlenmeyer flasks and Zirnkilton burners were of no use in these inquiries.
The issue seemed to close itself in 1984, with the release of the film Ghostbusters, which proved that ghosts did exist, could be filmed, and were quite willing to poke fun at themselves. Only in 1998 did it come out the many of the ghosts in the film were actually just actors in ghost suits, causing the scientific community to renew the debate, which is fought in campus science halls to this day.
