If you call ahead with your order, it's hot and ready to go when you walk in. There isn't a ton of seating, so taking it to go is generally the best plan

First of all, I had NO IDEA of what a dump the place is or I wouldn't have bought the Groupon for it in the first place!! (We NEVER eat in places like that!!). They don't even have tables and chairs!! There are 6 (small, round, and uncomfortable) stools and a small counter that faces the window. Because the food was an o. k. value for the money, we would (with a Groupon) conceivably consider ordering carry out from them, but NEVER, EVER eat there again!! It was a very blue collar environment with a TV going (showing a basketball game that we had absolutely NO interest in watching), but what REALLY "got my goat" was the fact that when I told one of them (the female that was there) that there were no paper towels at all in the bathroom (a situation that I dare say they already knew about since THERE'S ONLY 1 BATHROOM FOR BOTH SEXES and their paper towel machine is not only broken but also hanging down and in the open position), she could have cared less. When I told her that perhaps they could put SOMETHING in there so that people could dry their hands off after using the sink, she just looked at me. I also pointed out to them that they are literally right across the street from a Giant grocery store and that one of them could go over there and get a roll of paper towels -- a suggestion that was totally and completely ignored. My boyfriend had used the bathroom before I had and he was the one that had informed me of the paper towel situation. When I went to use the bathroom after he had, it was still in the same condition as it had been when he had used it -- that being with the paper towel dispenser being open and empty and with NOTHING WHATSOEVER having been put into the bathroom that people could conceivably use to dry their hands. As I said, that REALLY infuriated me!! So, also as I said, although we would conceivably under the right circumstances get take out from them, because of the paper towel situation and the fact that, as I also stated, the place is just simply a dump without even tables and chairs, NO, I NOT ONLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE PLACE TO ANYONE, BUT ALSO I WOULD NOT EAT THERE AGAIN!!

The service was fairly quick, the personnel are friendly and the food was really good. My husband, a cook who is very hard to please, truly enjoyed the food. I would go there again because I know my husband will not complain about the food.

Once again ordered the ultimate cheese steak sandwich as on previous visits to the establishment. On this visit an order was for the ultimate steak sandwich with extra steak (at additional cost) however the extra meat was not provided.

From Our Editors

Since the first Philadelphia Cheesesteak Factory opened its doors in 1993, its chefs have plied patrons with delicious cheesesteak sandwiches, burgers, chicken wings, pizzas, and onion rings. Like Philadelphia's embassy in downtown DC, the deli is an enclave of the City of Brotherly Love near the nation's capital, serving up tasty Philly-style street food of meaty sandwiches and piping hot pizza. Diners wrap their hands around savory meatball grinders, chow down on ham-and-cheese strombolis, and sink their teeth into chicken subs and cheesesteaks loaded with peppers, cheese whiz, fried onions, and mushrooms.
