Diogo Rodrigues da Costa Oliveira began his capoeira training at age 14 in Brazil. In 2004, he pursued a degree in physical education to supplement his martial-arts skills, and in 2011, he moved to Dallas. Now, as the Contramestre Molejo at Capoeira Allen Martial Arts Club, he guides students of all ages and ability levels toward developing leadership skills, martial-arts techniques, and their top five song choices for a training montage. The progressive training program focuses on capoeira and karate, but it also includes tae kwon do and sparring. All classes are held inside Capoeira Allen Martial Arts Club's facility, a sprawling studio equipped with full changing rooms and WiFi.
