After jumping into the fitness industry at age 16, Cameron Macdonald built up a series of overuse injuries from her athletic lifestyle. She turned to Pilates as a way to rehabilitate her body—but she also had a knack for the method that others noticed. In 2002, Peak Pilates asked her to become one of their teacher trainers, and she has since instructed and certified more than 100 protégés.
At The Cameron Macdonald Studio, she and her staff lead private, semi-private, and small-group Pilates classes for all experience levels. The team demonstrates exercises on both mats and apparatuses such as the reformer and Wunda Chair. Through the Cameron Macdonald Teacher Training, they can also certify guests to teach others, thereby ensuring that knowledge of the method is passed down without mummifying top students in their own mats.
