Everything was too spread out. They were charging for a map/program. Incredibly dull event. Nothing exciting and disorganized.

It was awesome. Got to meet family from our clan and learned more background in where I'm from!

Wish this included the drinks like it did in the past, but it was a fun time as always. Really sad that this may be leaving Arlington. I have been going nearly every year since I was a child (was 3 when I went to my first one).

decent amount of food vendors a lot of "scottish" items for sale but very expensive. some vendors were willing to bargain need to shade all of food court food too expensive for the quality. Scottish egg was very dry enjoyed watching some of the games and sitting under one of the tents in shade next to game field. Listened to the band during this time.

From Our Editors

More than 65 vivid clan tents cover the grounds at each year’s Texas Scottish festival, where Scots strut proudly around, wearing kilts and displaying their clan tartans. The notes of bagpipes float through the air, blasted from the lungs of talented soloists or from the year’s featured pipe-and-drum band. Market stalls show off Scottish and Celtic wares, from kilts and tartans to artisan Celtic jewelry and art. Competition flourishes amid Scot-descended attendees and curious fest-goers at professional or amateur athletics, as well as in an all-Scottish-breed dog show.

While multitudes of Scottish beers wet whistles and fortify bagpiping or kilt-twirling courage, food vendors sell American fair food alongside traditional Scottish sundries. These include meat pies, Scotch eggs, and haggis—chopped meat cured in a sheep’s stomach to the sound of Highland lullabies.
