The Cajun Noodles were way too salty. Tasted as if the chef had forgotten that he'd already put in the salt - more than once - and maybe he added salt two - or three - times! The pot roast was ok. Cheese quesadillas were yummy, but skimpy on the guacamole. The food was just ok. The Cajun Noodles were a big disappointment due to the salt. Service was good, but nobody was there! There are no pictures on the walls. My husband said that it's a diner and diners don't typically have a lot of décor, but they should at least put up some posters to cover nail holes in the walls. Diner appeared clean. Cool booths. But the salt in the Cajun Noodles - whew!

They give you large portions and everything we have tried has been very good. They are not busy on the week nights for dinner and that is when we go. They are very busy on the weekends, week days for lunch snd dinner.

Neither the food nor the service was anything great. They say that they have parking behind the restaurant, but it's not clearly marked, so we couldn't find it & had to walk quite a way to get there from where we were parked. They had a TV on showing a bull fight which turned my stomach, & neither the food nor the service was that good. Also, there's not enough selection of food. I think that the fact that it was a Friday night when we went and it wasn't at all crowded speaks for itself. When we first got there, we were their ONLY customers. It's located in an area where there are many restaurants in a row next to it and ALL the other restaurants WERE crowded, but NOT Cesar's Diner.

From Our Editors

Though the food is comfortably familiar, the décor is a cross between a sea vessel and a spaceship. So while guests order classic burgers, stacks of chocolate chip pancakes, and bowls of chilled gazpacho, they can admire Cesar’s Diner's cosmic-oceanic aesthetic. A space age-evoking shiny chrome ceiling reflects the sky blue and periwinkle booths, and porthole windows contrast the sprawling, knee-to-ceiling windows along the front walls. Servers navigate this scenery around the clock on the weekends, moving grub from grills to table so clients can indulge cravings for midnight breakfasts after a night on the town or after having spent the previous 24 hours at the diner.
