I head out on this boat every year with my dad and my 2 sons (ages 8 and 11). This year everyone caught fish and the crew was really great especially with my 8 year old who has special needs.

Nice people, the boat was roomy for all. We did get to see some dolphins as well as a whale. Overall a nice trip and a beautiful day.

Great day on the water! Saw dolphins and a humpback whale. Captain Chris and mate Dave were wonderful. Plan to do this again in the near future.

Fabulous trip, Captain is great! Saw about a dozen juvenile hump back whales and in an apparent rare event 2 Minke whales only a couple hundred yards off the coast.

Awesome experience! Saw 5 whales, including a mom and her baby. Not only did we see a whale, we smelt a whale, and what a smell it was! Captain Jeff and Dave were great and provided a wonderful experience. Can't wait to go again.

Staffs are super nice, unfortunately we weren't able to spot a whale that day but with all discount and stuff it was kinda worth it. Dress warm and expect to get little bit wet.

From Our Editors

Every week, aboard the spacious 100-foot Ocean Explorer, veteran angler and spearfisher Captain Bobby Quinn puts his 30 years of experience to use. Throughout afternoons of deep-sea fishing, he takes passengers onto the rolling Atlantic in search of everything from sea bass and bluefish to fluke. And guests searching for a specific catch can track the conditions of the water and availability of fish with Ocean Explorer's ever-updated fishing report, full of pictures of beaming anglers showing off what they hooked. Then, when charter-goers have had their fill of fishing, they can relax aboard the spacious ship and take in views of the sunset.

Meanwhile, aboard Ocean Explorer's sister ship the Sea Eagle—the very same vessel that was featured in the classic James Bond film License to Kill—guests search out the area's most majestic sea creatures from an open-concept vessel with a 360-degree view. During these three-hour educational tours riders scan the seas with cameras ready looking for humpback whales, along with possible sightings of sea turtles, dolphins, and other marine life. That's why customers laud this an "up close and personal" experience.
