Blow out was ok, took a long time and had a little heat damage but they offered a repair treatment for the next time. Messed up the groupon redemption when checking out...

Small shop but great energy. A fun way to spoil yourself for a day, especially before an event

It was a great experience. I have long curly hair and I was in and out in about an hour. Hair styled perfect.

This was my first time at a Blow Dry salon and it will definitely be my last. Although the stylist was perfectly nice and I enjoyed chatting with her, the quality of the blow out wasn't great. Not sure if it's a cultural thing as my stylist was African American and Im Latina, but with finer, white/hispanic hair textures you always dry the roots a bit first, so the hair dries quicker but she didn't. It subsequently took way longer and damaged/broke/frizzed my hair quite a bit as a result. Also, as I was wrapping up, one of my friends, who was attending the same event later in the evening, walked in to get her hair styled... and when I saw her that night her hair didn't look great either. For reference, the staff was black and so is my friend. Im hispanic. I thought maybe it was just having to do my hair since it's different. But in the end, it just didn't seem as though the staff was as proficient at blow outs as one might think. In the end, i went home and had to touch up the hair and all the flyaways. Really nice staff, just not the level of skill/styling I expecting from a dedicated blow dry bar.

Everyone was very nice, the salon was clean, very cute, nice products, offered champagne, however, the stylist I had was not skilled enough to do my hair. Walking in and going to anyone just doesn’t work when stylist are not equally skilled. I saw a lot of people walking out whose hair looked beautiful... mine did not. I had to go home and re- flat iron my hair. level of skill was lacking.

From Our Editors

Gwyneth Paltrow is known for rocking blond locks that are always perfectly smooth and sleek. And celebrity hairstylist David Babaii has been dubbed the "King of Curls" by Vogue. So it only makes sense that the two partnered with Blo, the salon that jump-started the blow-dry-bar trend in America. As countless clients around the country already know, Blo's menu doesn't consist of regular salon services because it's not a regular salon—instead, its stylists (or "Bloers") create one of seven unique styles. The Executive Sweet gets hair "skyscraper straight" for a more professional look, while the Pillow Talk creates a textured effect that's part bedhead, part beach waves.

Clients can pop in to one of Blo's more than 40 North American locations, or request a Blo-on-the-Go at their office, special event, hotel, or photo shoot. The bar even offers bridal styling, so brides don't have to purchase pre-styled hair from the Internet before their wedding day.
