My son and I love the Palace! Get there early to enjoy the atmosphere before the game. The best way to leave is to head West on Harmon Rd. toward I-75. Harmon Rd. is on the North side of the Palace parking lot.

Very unhappy with the ticket location. Assigned seats were top row of the stadium on a corner. While I knew the tickets would be in the upper tier, I don't know if we could have been assigned worse seats.

The Palace is a great place to see a game or concert.

Great time! I would definitely take the opportunity for a post game shot on the court as well!

Game was awesome! I bought two tickets nervous that we wouldn't be seated next to each other (since you'll find out a few days later which section, row & seat you got) but thankfully we were. Just an FYI, you do receive a voucher for a free throw on the court after the game but be wary. I left just before the game ended from section 106 to hurry & line up at section 120 and there were hundreds of people already lined up!! I could tell it definitely would've been an hour wait or more so I left. Cool experience but if you want a chance to go on the floor, I bet you have to line up during half time!

From Our Editors

Although their name fondly alludes to Michigan's proudest industry, the Detroit Pistons rolled off the assembly line in a different state entirely—Indiana. Automobile-part mogul Fred Zollner founded the team as the Fort Wayne Zollner Pistons, joining the young National Basketball League in 1941. Under Fred's direction, the Pistons immediately found success on the court, winning back-to-back NBL titles in 1944 and 1945 and amassing 166 wins in just nine seasons.

As the sport grew, so too did the team. In need of a bigger audience, the Pistons left Fort Wayne for the Motor City, where they continue to challenge Eastern Conference opponents in the NBA. Throughout the years, the team has claimed three NBA championships—most recently in 2004—produced hall of fame players, and earned the record for the highest-scoring game in NBA history—a 186–184 triple-overtime win over the Denver Nuggets in which both teams accidentally scored touchdowns for a whole quarter.
