Definitely go. My daughter, our friend and her son, and my 3 grandchildren went October 26th. IT WAS AWESOME! The kids didn't even know where to start! We first took some pictures by The Pumpkin Tree, then went in to tackle the Maze. It is HUGE and soooo much fun. The kids stayed with us (most of the time) but we could always hear them giggling. When the wind blew and you heard the corn whisper, you KNEW Halloween was almost here. Too many things to do, too little time to do it all. We ate our lunch at The Pasta Cart and it was great. Between the petting zoo, the tire swing set, the bounce house and castle, the hay ride, petting the Draft Horses, looking at all the cool houses in "the town", laying in the wagon filled with corn and searching for The Blue Gnome (and getting a free pumpkin), we couldn't decide which was our favorite part! The people that worked there were friendly and helpful. This our NEW Halloween Tradition! It's not just for kids… the adults will leave with a smile on their faces and money left in their wallets :)

We went to mile high farms the Saturday before Halloween. It was really fun and not very crowded. They had a live band and they sounded great. There is lots of buildings they built that you could use for backdrops in your photos.

Bring water! Pumpkin patch and corn maze were very hot. Nice shaded eating / picnic area. Great corn maze, and you even get a map! Come early, there are many things to do. Great place and very friendly staff.

Go early as the crowds are much smaller earlier in the day. The kids absolutely love this every year!

It's more fun and interesting, and much less crowded than Chatfield (no long lines).

The pumpkins are extra. But If you find the blue yard gnome you get little pumpkin for free :)

From Our Editors

Mile High Farms introduces visitors to the fun side of farming, teaching children about the importance of agriculture and delighting families with seasonal activities. In the springtime, schools and youth organizations flock to the farm for lessons in harvesting, soil preparation, and dressing scarecrows in the latest designer trends. Those who awake from their summer hibernation can visit the farm in the fall to take home pumpkins and other bounties from the autumnal harvest. When the farm's trees begin to shed their leaves, families arrive to traverse a corn maze and bask in the brisk fall air on antique-tractor hayrides.
