Four Things to Know About Craft Pride
Craft Pride is Texas Pride in keg form. The specialty bar celebrates the regional brewing scene with a menu of craft beers exclusively from within state lines. Read on for more about this Rainey Street spot:
- The tap list is Texas centric and Texas size. Craft Pride’s 54 taps feature a rotating menu with seasonal and specialty pours from breweries such as Independence, Thirsty Planet, and Twisted X.
- The double-cask engine is a permanent fixture with ephemeral contents. It’s the vessel where one-offs, specialty beers, and limited-edition brews are kept. It may preserve the integrity of those beers, but once they’re gone, they’re gone.
- It sells bottles to go. The Bottle Shoppe, located in the rear of the bar, stocks Texas craft beers and wines, as well as select beverages from around the country and gluten-free options.
- There’s a great soundtrack. Live bands play on the roomy back patio.
