From Our Editors
Nestled along South First, End of an Ear pays homage to the era of vinyl, but it has no trouble embracing newer sounds, either. Everything from records to CDs and cassettes, VHS to Blu-Rays can be found on the wooden racks throughout the shop. There’s even a back area that sells old sound systems and drum kits. Prints from live concerts and posters adorn the walls. Music aficionados can also find portable turntables, record players, books and shirts, as well as listening stations throughout. The floor, much like the collection of music, is a mish-mash of designs: in one corner of the store, an array of blue ceramic tiles borders a slab of gray concrete.
