Family owned restaurant where they focus on the quality of their ingredients as opposed to a repetitive flavorless trough.

Chicken was hard. No rice. Naan wasn't cooked all the way. Food was just terrible

Very poor food, shocking cleanliness.. Utensils were dirty and no courteousness at all. People were rude. Worst food I have ever eaten in life.. Just tasted some and was quick to leave. Will never go back. Shocking business!

The food did not seem to be fresh or tasty. It is recommended that the owners go and try on Asiana, Taj palace and Bombay Bistro to get an idea of the competitive land scape.

Don't be afraid to ask, there are several different types of sauces and certain dishes have to combined with others to get the intended effect. The staff was very helpful and made the experience very enjoyable

There are a lot of Indian restaurants to choose from in Austin. That said, this one is so-so. The buffet was only okay . The difference't dishes didn't really stand apart from each other. Additionally, I felt like I was being rushed the whole time.

From Our Editors

A marigold façade with window cutouts that mirror the Taj Mahal's distinguished silhouette welcomes guests to Indian Palace, whose interior is equally lavish and vibrant. Golden elephant statuettes, paintings of traditional Indian scenes, and deep red tapestries enliven the decor, and aromas of sweet curries and meats roasting in the clay oven add excitement to the air. Inside the kitchen, chefs channel the culture of northern India into traditional meals, then deliver the cuisine à la carte to tables or arrange it at the self-serve buffet. The sweeping buffet enables diners to hop from dish to dish like garden gnomes playing hopscotch on lily pads. A cornucopia of naan breads cushions plates against flying forks and provides a pillowy field for the spicy notes of such dishes as lamb biryani and chicken tikka masala to caper across. The spread always contains an extensive selection of vegetarian options, such as saag aloo, which dispatches a duo of cheese and potato to thwart dastardly hunger pangs.
