Melted is all about three things: philanthropy, local sustainability, and gooey, delicious cheese. Owner Anna Hutto created Melted as a for-profit business, wherein all the profits go toward the International Justice Mission, a charity concerned with global poverty. That means every cheesy bite you take of the food truck's six signature sandwiches—including the Hill Country Toast, which packs a helping of beer-braised pork—benefits a good cause. Hutto also aims to support the local community by relying on Austin's culinary artisans to supply everything from the ingredients to the sourdough bread.
