Back in 1836, Svante Magnus Swenson migrated to the US from Sweden and soon became one of Austin's first settlers. He started a ranch that still operates today, raising grass-fed cows on 60,000 acres. Svante's Stuffed Burgers takes its name from Mr. Swenson and the beef from his ranch.
Not content to craft simple burgers, the restaurant's chefs engorge each beef patty with gooey cheese and top it with gourmet ingredients, such as bacon-onion jam, roasted red peppers, or chipotle aioli. To accompany their sandwiches, customers can order up fresh, hand-cut fries.
