Most kids gaze lovingly at cakes. Pastry Chef Elva Caballero's childhood was spent gazing in awe at the cake decorators inside of her family's bakery. Fast-forward to adulthood, and she found herself at Le Cordon Bleu, then the Driskill Hotel, and finally her own bakery, Sweetness Bakery Austin. Today, Elva's the one responsible for decadent and detailed treats, such as her Chocolate Kiss cupcake or her signature Texas Gold pastry, a yellow cake blondie bar baked with cream cheese. Sweetness Bakery also offers cake balls, homemade fudge, and coffee drinks.
