At your entree price point level your food needs to better. The meals are plated well and aren't bad but they aren't $20+/pp good. Honestly in the same price point Hamilton Tavern, City Cafe and The Market are all a better bang for the buck. Both the salmon and the roasted half chicken were tasty but they appeared to be cooked so fast that no flavor had seeped into them. We had been to the Mount Vernon location years ago and were impressed then. This visit left something to be desired.

Had a groupon coupon. Went to Donna's 2 months ago on a Saturday. Had lunch but they would not take my coupon because the waiter said it was brunch. I did have a sandwich and it was lunchtime. I was not very happy. Did go back again and was able to use my coupon. Good food!

I've been to the Cross Keys location for lunch but not the Charles St. location. We will definitely return as my husband's workplace is about 3 blocks from the restaurant. And he didn't know about the restaurant. Groupon was a good introduction to the restaurant. We'll be back.
