When three boys from Seattle set foot on the sunny shores of Maui, they fell in love, but not with the surf or the island breezes. They fell in love with a fresh new dish called poke: sliced up raw seafood served with a variety of mix-ins, toppings and an array of sauces. Once they returned home, they realized there was nowhere to order their new favorite meal, so they opened Just Poke to change that. But their restaurant is committed to more than just quality food. With their environmental impact in mind, they use only biodegradable/compostable and recyclable materials, built their flagship restaurant using low VOC paint and energy-efficient lighting, and work with local distributors and businesses. Their belief is simple: Eat Clean, Act Right, Live Well.
