Decent neighborhood place.
Not worth full price.
Too loud and the pasta had MUCH to much sauce. The room had no atmosphere...
Food, service and ambience second to none!
Food was good service was good. Try the penne with vodka sauce. Or the Octopus salad.
Food and service are top notch.
great space: very deceiving as it has many tables in rear space. Nice looking front bar area as well. Food was very good with generous portions.Chicken well prepared and delivered hot. Seafood tasty and fresh. Reserved my fifth star just because the house salad was a bit plain with just romaine and cherry toms, albeit well dressed.
we had an expired groupon, I read the date wrong - thought is was the 15 - but it was the 13 - Food was good, service was good - Tuesday is Karaoke night - so be prepared
Very good service delicious food
Grotto Italian Table's staff was wonderful and gladly accepted the groupon which I found a lot of vendors had attitudes when you said you had a groupon. Also, the service and food was top notch.
From Our Editors
The owners of Grotto Italian Table have one objective: to create a little slice of Italy in the heart of Brooklyn. To achieve this goal, they make the restaurant as authentically Italian as possible, from the ingredients they import from Italy to the recessed dining areas they designed to look like idyllic grottos. Before you stop by, read on to learn about a few of their standout dishes:
- Antipasto: imported prosciutto and burrata cheese accented with wild oregano from Calabria
- Pasta: penne, pork sausage, and shallots tossed in cream sauce
- Entree: a medley of shrimp, mussels, scallops, calamari, and clams in a light tomato broth
