Bought this Groupon for $199. The owner of the salon did the procedure herself, and even though Rowana is very pleasant to deal with, there are a few things that were not so pleasant. This procedure was done in a back room that was crowded, uncomfortable, and less than clean. The numbing cream did not work very well and the procedure was painful. It is a razor blade slicing into your face. Rowana used water from a water bottle poured onto a tissue to wipe my eyebrows. After the procedure was done, I was handed a sheet of paper with instructions, stating there is a MANDATORY follow up and that it is included. I did need the follow up visit, as the results were less than satisfactory. At NO TIME was there ever mentioned there would be an extra fee. When I went for the second procedure, I indicated to the owner that I needed more height on one eyebrow, as they were not even. I had to repeat this request several times during the session. I STILL have one eyebrow higher than the other. As I was leaving, she indicated I needed to pay an additional $100. When I protested and referred to the paper SHE HAD GIVEN ME that it was included, I was told it is not included for Groupon customers. If you look closely at the photos on Rawaj Instagram page, you can see quite a few uneven eyebrows. After all is said and done, I do like the idea of microblading and my eyebrows do look thicker, but they are uneven and I paid $320 for them, including tip- not $199 Groupon price.
