Massage Metta’s lead massage practitioner, Janine Narayadu, specializes in Active Isolated Stretching. Recognized by many physicians, chiropractors, and physical therapists as an effective way to improve flexibility, the AIS method stretches muscles for no longer than two seconds at a time to lengthen the muscles without triggering reciprocal muscle contractions or requiring new, longer clothes. Along with stretching techniques, Janine employs more than 15 years of international massage experience to relieve tension with the firm kneads of deep-tissue massage or the gentle strokes of Swedish massage. Massage Metta also offers craniosacral therapy and detoxification services for general health and wellness.
