Kudos , to their management in choice of staff. I will definitely visit again!
Only negative is the parking, but that wouldn't stop me from going back.
The description said the food was Mediterranean, but we didn't find any of those flavors. The waiters were not knowledgable on the menu items and often didn't follow through getting answers for us about the food listed. Couple of tables were noted to have incorrect orders brought in. Several times I was reminded that I could not order certain dishes as it did not come with the groupon.
No I will not be going back! The waitresses, Vinna & Daniella was wonderful & beyond reproach but management tried to reap us off! When our bill came, the gratuity was on the original value of the meal, $200. No problem. What irked me is they tried to make us pay taxes on $200! Seriously? The tax should be on the actual value of the Groupon of $95 NOT $200. And their tax rate was 9.75%! What? I said the LA county sales tax rate is 9%. They said that the 9.75% if for Beverly Hills. I pulled the info from the internet...its 9%!At that point the waitress conceded and told us to pay what we want. Paid tax 9% on $95 but gave tip on $200 vlaue coz we liked the waitresses but dislike the management
The service c9ould be a little quicker
Given the price of the meal, the automatic 20% gratuity is too high. Maybe it should be the 18% or maybe even 15% with a note that says it is that much and to tip more if you really enjoyed the service. I also thought that the portion size of the desert was ridiculous.
There was not enough help in the restaurant. The service was uneven. It felt like the restaurant had not been open very long.
For the money should really have linen, not paper, napkins and offer steak knifes with the very fatty steak.
Service can be improved somewhat. The severs were a little disorganized.
The dessert was phenomenal
