I usually don't leave a review but this time I feel the need to warn others. Please do not purchase the groupon for this salon if you like your hair. I am still in tears about how mine turned out.
First off, I ordered an appointment with Inna. Or so I thought I did, when I arrived I was informed that I could call Inna because she was not here yet. I declined because, I was there early and I rather not rush someone that is going to take care of my hair. After waiting for a good 15 minutes it turned out she was not my stylist after all and I was assigned to someone else because Inna did not take groupons. I did my research before going to the salon in order to get a good stylist. The only stylist excluded in the fine print was Udi himself. I should had left right there and then but being in a rush I did not have time to rebook with another hair salon so I took my chances that this hairstylist knew what he was doing.
The stylist asked what I wanted and I explained that I needed my roots done to match the rest of my highlights. He proceeded to put my hair in foils, surprisingly quick. Then he goes outside and smokes but does not wash his hands upon returning to take the foils out of my hair. I couldn't believe this lack of hygiene, but by then it was too late to point it out.
Before starting the haircut he manhandled my hair by combing so hard that chunks of hair fell off and he acted like it was was normal... When it came to the cut he promised to not take a lot off the length but did anyways. Then he gave me the worst blow dry of the century, where he did not use a single heat protective or detangler. To combat any hair knots he instead proceeded to pull as hard as he could with the comb as knots apparently go away with brute force only. The pain alone from him pulling my hair was enough to leave me in tears.
The highlights turned out super chunky and uneven and my haircut makes me look like I am in the boy band Hansons. I was so frustrated that I broke down in tears in the salon, they offered to even out my highlights and Christina took time from her clients to fix it. The result turned out decent enough to at least leave the salon with..
I had to go to another salon to get an Olaplex treatment in order to save some of the broken hairs that the first hair stylists manhandled. She pointed out how unnatural and chunky my highlights still were without knowing what previously happened. I am so embarrassed by how my hair looks and can't afford to get it done again. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND DO NOT GO HERE!! I can't emphasize how much hair I've lost from his combing technique and I feel so bad about my self-image right now. Do not pay money to have that happen to you too..
