This was the worst 5K I've ever done, don't even understand why I paid because I didn't get any of the stuff that I was supposed to go in the package .. all it was was a waste of money did not get anything . When I got to the 5K it was so disorganized it was just a very horrible experience.

It was the most disorganized race I have ever been to. They started 1.5 hrs late, there were no signs, nobody knew where the starting line was. Eventually they sounded a horn and people started running a one direction and eventually everyone was turned around to run the other way. As if all that wasn't enough the race was a loop around the whole park but to make it the 5k we were supposed to loop around twice but they told us last minute that we wouldn't be allowed to do both loops so it didn't even end up being a 5k

Avoid the ColorFest. Do the ColorRun. The ColorFest in Dripping was lame.

I could only get my "registration for two" to pay for one.

HORRIBLE event! No one had any information and could not answer any questions. People who were pre-registered still ha to wait 45 minutes in line. Color packets were not given out as they were said to be. They ran out of every size t-shirt except for size XL. There was no marked finish line, people who "worked" the event could not answers the runners when we asked where the run ended. And the absolute worse part.......It was not even a 5k! It was MAYBE, AT MOST a 1.5 mile run!!!! HORRIBLE!!! Do not waste your money on these poorly organized events that are created as a gimmick to make money!

Not enough color packets, that were suppose to be included. the course was on uneven and uncut grass, hiding mud puddles or small stone walls. Multiple people falling, no medical aid/kit available. Route not market. It shouldn't be promoted as a running event. It was impossible to safely run there!

I felt this event wasn't as it was represented. First of all the event started late, then the organizers ran out of race bibs and shirts. Lastly, they shortened the race length last minute, so we didn't even run a 5k. I was disappointed with this experience. I hope Groupon thinks twice before partnering up with this event in the future. Regards, Nerissa

This event was in Orlando, Florida at a park off of Hiawassee Rd. Do not waste your money or your time. The coordinator of the race expected 800 people bit allowed 1300 people to participate. Participants that paid for the run were not given packets because they ran out. Runners who did not pay for this event were able to walk up to registration, sign a liability for waiver and received a packet. The coordinator had us begin the race in the unsecured parking lot. Cars were leaving the parking area at the starting line of the race. Participants were told to start running , the dj had to scream wrong way, turn, turn around. In a nutshell is you want a dangerous, frustrating and unorganized event this is for you. If NOT stay away.

Wouldn't recommend. So poorly organized. And there wasn't enough race support. Color stations were a box with a cup. Should've been advertised as Color Yourself Run. Course not marked, confusion at and where the start was. No water on or at the end of the course.

From Our Editors

Sprinting around with a beet-red face glistening with sweat is no way to run a 5K; it's much better to add some other colors to the mix. During the 5KColorFest, participants run, jog, or walk along a three-mile course that periodically explodes with color (courtesy of safe, non-toxic color powder made from cornstarch). After getting pelted with every color of the rainbow, racers compare their newly chromatic outfits at a post-race party complete with live DJs and dancing. All proceeds from the 5KColorFest benefit scientific research on cancer and Alzheimer's disease.
