Jody is not a nice person. Color and cut looked good but some grey was still showing a week later. She would not fix it and was nasty to me on phone.

Used Jody for the first time with a groupon and was so happy with how she cuts hair that I just
got my second haircut. Have had many compliments on the cut. Was very happy to have found her.
Jody is very fast and talented! She also is very knowledgeable and great with color.
I made an appointment for a haircut with Jody by phone. I wrote down the date and time when talking to her - Tuesday 8/15 at 11:00 am. I arrived for my appointment, and Jody was not there. I waited for 25 mn and then called her and left a voicemail for her that I was there and she wasn't and wondered if there was a mix-up with the appointment. I asked her to call me back so we could reschedule. I did not hear back from her until the NEXT DAY. Instead of calling me to reschedule, she sent me the following text: "We (she is the only person) are sorry you missed your hair appt. today. You would have to wait for the next Groupon Opening to rebook. Thank you."
I was very frustrated that she appears to be blaming me for missing my appointment and couldn't be bothered to pick up the phone to reschedule. I feel like this is very unprofessional. I read good reviews of her before buying my Groupon and am very disappointed that I was not able to get a haircut, and that she couldn't bother to call me to reschedule.
I replied to Jody's text to let her know I was not happy that she texted instead of called me to reschedule and thought that was unprofessional. She replied back that she wouldn't have scheduled for Tuesday as she has classes on Tuesday. I wouldn't have made an appointment for Wednesday because I was out of town for work that day. So, clearly some sort of miscommunication. I was willing to reschedule until she texted instead of called me.
Groupon would not issue me a refund or a credit. Not sure I will purchase another Groupon in the future.
Very disappointing all the way around!
I bought Groupon as I am currently looking for a new stylist to replace my previous stylist as she has moved. Jody did a fabulous job. I am happy to find a good fit for my frequent style needs in Jody and look forward to going back.
Bought Groupon for my son. He had bleached his hair in honor of his hockey team going to the state tournament. He was in need of a total makeover. Jody took excellent care of him and he came out with a great haircut and natural color again.
Too hard to get appointment. Felt like she was doing me a favor when I said I had a Groupon.
