They scammed me into buying this groupon by saying it was unlimited access and I could use either location. Neither is true.
The Groupon was supposed to be for an "unlimited" membership which was what attracted me. I can only go during unstaffed hours based on my work schedule. However, when I went to redeem the Groupon, I was told that it was, in fact, limited to a membership during staffed hours. The person at the desk informed me that I could have unlimited membership if I signed a full year contract - that the Groupon could cover my first six months of a TRUE unlimited membership and that I would then pay full price - or an alleged "promotional" price - for the last 6 months of the contract. I decided to do this, but it is a decision I now regret based on the above comments about facilities.
I think considering the space and lack of clientel Ten X should consider accepting limited number of men. The changing rooms are there and the space would be more fully utilized. I know at least three who would like a new gym. Since moving, the new location lacks the feeling of a clean space to work out. Maybe allowing men would result in more income to fix this space up more instead of putting surcharges on exhisting members. My only dissapointment and drawback to rejoining at this point would be the charges to loyal members.
Very happy I bought this offer!
It seems to be barely hanging on.
Very poor energy
I have never experienced worse customer service than at this salon. They messed up appointments three times. It was incredibly difficult to schedule, they clearly did not have the staff to handle the amount of business they got with the groupon sales. The manis and pedis were nothing special. The staff were somewhat rude in dealing with the problems. They extended the groupon time frame so we could get our appointments in due to their scheduling issues, then sold the spa, leaving us with new owners in Natick, our preferred place to go, who would not honor the groupon. There was nothing positive about the experience at all. I feel burned by the groupon experience after all of this. Not sure if or when I will use groupon again.
When a client calls to make an appointment for a massage, it should be disclosed that the MT is either a male or female - not wait to surprise the client upon arrival. Have gone for many massages over the years - this had to be without a doubt the worst EVER!! Totally unprofessional.
i'd STRONGLY suggest making the massage rooms even more private (like adding a ceiling and soundproofing). my massage was a non-talking, quiet, thoughtful and relaxing experience, that is UNTIL someone entered the room next to mine and proceeded to talk (and loudly) through her whole massage. i ended up hearing about her whole life story, her medical conditions, her relationships, etc etc, and it ended up diminishing the mood and experience of my own massage.
Bad atmosphere! Loud and not peaceful at all!
