Even seasoned soccer players will need to rethink the game once they slip on a BubbleBall suit, a donut-shaped inflatable ball that covers the upper half of the body and leaves the legs free to run around and kick a soccer ball. Once in these unique uniforms, teams can run, spin, bounce, and roll their way across the field—crashing into one another with carefree abandon.
It's not all just running around, though—BubbleBall is a sport, too. Sort of a larger-than-life version of soccer—or perhaps dodgeball meets sumo wrestling—each game is made up of eight-minute quarters with five-minute breaks. This lets players grab some on-site water, recharge their energy, and get ready for the next quarter. Check out videos from past BubbleBall games for more on what to expect.
