I was glad I had a wind breaker to wear.
It was great pleasure. Not for the faint of heart, though.
Great day out in the harbor. It was a blast
The pickup location is not where groupon says it is, but he came & got us. Not much of a "tour guide" but very nice and a great way to spend an afternoon. Would definitely do this again, lots of fun!
TOTALLY AWESOME TIME....WE LOVED IT AND WOULD GO AGAIN IN A SECOnD!
It was an AWESOME experience :-)
The location of the pier location was not marked so some guesswork and ruining around was involved. Capt Todd was right on time and we had a blast!
We went on a high speed boat tour of Boston Harbor. It was a blast!! Our captain Gee Gee was fantastic and very knowledgeable. She knew the history of all the islands and she even managed to get us under a plane landing at Logan. I highly recommend this tour to everyone with plans to spend the day in Boston. It's only 75 minutes so it's a great way to start. We didn't even realize how many islands were in the harbor and thanks to RIB we are planning to visit them in the future...
Were not aware of this excursion until Groupon. It was fun, exciting and very educational.
Our guide was great, she took time to explain the entire trip..
a lot of fun and a great tour guide.
From Our Editors
RIB Adventure Tours conduct informative history tours and scavenger hunts around Baltimore Harbor, even when the horizon becomes a blur; all tours take place aboard 26-foot-long rigid, inflatable speedboats. Built to Navy SEAL specifications by a local Massachusetts boat manufacturer, the boats keep riders secure aboard jockey seats. On guided history tours, passengers snag high-speed glimpses of harbor landmarks including lighthouses and forts, whose history guides can expound upon. During scavenger hunts, guides prompt passengers to look for environmental clues and give individual scores. Captains and tour guides brief passengers on safety before all excursions and supply them with high-grade waterproof cameras to take pictures of passing scenery.
More relaxed cruises from partner Hestia Cruises, onboard the 32-foot sailing yacht Hestia, might drift past the USS Constitution or out into the outer harbor. The ship is manned by a captain, a full crew, and friendly cocker spaniel named Ensign. Guests can help with the sailing duties, but padded seats and a BYOB policy for those of age may encourage them to sit back and relax.
