About this Business
From Our Editors
Though it opened only recently, ZC Boston has already received mountains of praise from UrbanDaddy and other local critics. Much of the love is directed toward the double-sided bar that serves as the restaurant's handsome focal point. On one side of the bar are the sushi chefs, who handcraft nigiri, sashimi, and maki along with creative appetizers such as the tuna martini (all sashimi, no alcohol). These chefs can focus on making each piece of sushi a work of art, as their counterparts in the kitchen are solely responsible for cooking pan-Asian dishes such as curry fried rice and pork ribs with salt and pepper.
The other side of the bar is, well, a bar. That's not to take anything away from its refreshingly unique cocktails, which take their inspiration from around the world. The Lotus Blossom is a blend of sake, pear liqueur, and white cranberry juice, but there's also a tiramisu martini and a Mayan Gold cocktail with tequila, sour mix, and agave nectar.
Additionally, diners can select from a variety of soups, salads, starters, and entrees from both Chinese and Japanese-inspired menus. Staples such as miso soup, teriyaki chicken, and pad thai are offered alongside unique spins on ordinary dishes such as cucumber-wrapped sushi rolls. Diners who wish to take your time exploring both sides of the bar and restaurant can take advantage of ZC Boston's validating parking for cars and horse-drawn SUVs.
