I love that the horses are rescues. They were in good shape and well cared for. Our trail guide was pleasant and friendly. It was a nice time.

Although it was a beautiful day and the horse was very gentle, I was disappointed in the staff, dull ride and some issues. The trail ride was under an hour, I did not receive a snack nor the Souvenir take home photo.

We had a great time! I like an active horse and they gave me a good one to make the ride extra enjoyable.

The trail was nice because it was an open field and some woods. However the start of it: helmets were optional, even if we have no experience, the instructor didn't ask if we've ever ridden before or explain how to do anything, she was a young girl.. so it's understandable she didn't know better. and the horses tied up ready for the days trail rides were in the direct sun without cover, or water.

This place was filthy. I felt so bad for the animals. The staff was also very rude and unprofessional.
Commune with nature during equine-powered trips from Acres Away. Astride gentle steeds, riders wind through dense forestland and picturesque meadows, taking in pastoral views and glimpses of majestic fauna like white-tailed deer, red-tailed hawks, and totally normal-tailed forest people. Trail rides are ideal for riders of all abilities thanks to the knowledgable guides who lead the way. These guides also direct special tours. Some send kids on horseback to hunt for gold coins hidden through the forest. Select select journeys conclude with picnic lunches or s'mores by a roaring bonfire. For even more whimsy, kids can gallop along the Frozen-themed tour. There, children delight during the 15-minute ride with Anna and Elsa, culminating in a sunny tea party. Acres Away also teaches horseback riding lessons in both English and western styles.
