What makes your business stand out?
The service! We want the car wash experience to be a destination and not just a chore. That's why we make your visit a personal one. We interact with our customers more than the average car wash. We pride ourselves in bringing the fun back to car washing. Most of our business is repeat business, and from customers that have been coming to Hank's since we first opened. We are the only car wash in Broken Arrow with The Foam Wall (available on our $16 Ultimate Wash Experience). This is why we are Broken Arrow's Favorite Car Wash.
What inspired you to run this business?
I have worked here for over two years and love working here because of how important we make the customer. They are not just a number—they have a name. I love it because we strive for excellence at all times, and aren't satisfied with mediocrity. We are always trying to improve and get the cleanest car possible while also having the best value in town.
What is your most popular offering?
Our VIP Monthly Club Card. With it, you can wash any vehicle you want up to 10 times a month for one monthly charge. Prices start as low as $15 month. Unlike most car washes, we give you the option of choosing from all of our wash packages and allow you to wash more than just one vehicle. We have also had many contests on Facebook, with prizes ranging from manicures, pedicures, massages, local business's gift cards, a year's worth of free car washing, and other exclusive deals and offers. We now offer a $3 Quick Wash every day of the week. Wacky Wednesday [is also popular.] Our new promotion is that our $16 and $12 washes are $3 off every Wednesday.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
Our best compliments are always about our employees. They tell us that we have the friendliest staff. We also love that our customers say that their vehicle shines brighter when they visit Hank's as opposed to other car washes in the area.
What’s your favorite part about your job?
[My] favorite part of the job is being able to be an integral part of the Broken Arrow community and establishing relationships with our customers. I love interacting with our customers and helping to bring a smile to their day. Knowing that I am treating every customer like family makes me smile and makes me feel like what we are doing is successful. That's why a motto we go by here is "a business that makes nothing but money is a poor business."
