I totally enjoyed every experience I have had at Jeffrey's. I usually recommend them to friends who are coming to Brooklyn to visit or those already residing in Brooklyn as a wonderful dinning experience. I particularly like the fact that you can bring you own wine and they will put it on ice for you.

The staff is extremely friendly and polite. Food was not up to par with the prices. The steaks were mediocre at best. I read the seafood was good and I wish I would have ordered that but that was not on the groupon menu and required additional payment.

I really enjoyed the wait staff - excellent. The food was average but portions very generous. The area is far from desirable though so I would caution certain narrow minded people about going there. I for one enjoyed my evening.

Recently had dinner at Jeffreys. I have a mixed review. Having lived in the community for over 30 years, I am excited about the options we now have for dining and was very excited to try Jeffreys. I called to make a reservation for 6:30pm and was told that they had nothing available at that time, only 7 or 7:30pm. I made the reservation for 6pm knowing that it would be tight for me and my party. We arrived at Jeffreys only to find we were the only party there. We stayed for about 2:30 hours having dinner and no other parties showed up at all. Not sure what that was all about!!! We ordered soups and salads which were fine. For the main entrees, we ordered the seafood pasta pasta dish, broiled seafood platter, steak diana and ribeye. They got three out of the four correct. My table mates loved their dishes, however my ribeye was dry as a door nail. I ordered it medium well and it was beyond well done. A huge disappointment. The accompanying sides were ok, nothing to scream about. We used a groupon coupon which entitle us to 2 desserts. They have a plain apple pie and an apple pie with ice cream. We wanted the apple pie and ice cream as one choice but asked the server to put the ice cream in a seperate dish as the four of us were sharing the desserts and some have issues with dairy products. We were told, putting the ice cream in a seperate dish counted as 2 seperate desserts. What!!!!!!!!! So we opted for the apple pie, no ice cream and chocolate cake. The pie was good, chocolate cake was too sweet. Will I return to Jeffreys. Likely yes. Hope next visit will be better than the first.

The meal was slow in coming and another table was served before me although my order was placed before they walked in. I ordered the fish and it was a little tough on the bottom from the pan fry? but it was delicious. The pancakes had a delicious flavor but were much too thick. - Not enjoyable.

There were a few Items that they didnt have that were on the menu....The filet mignon, and there was another cut of steak they didnt have....Its a Steakhouse! Gotta make sure those things that are supposed to represent your restuarant are in house, other wise what's the point? Overall the food was really good-the service was great, and the place is really cute! I wish them much success!!!

Like any good steakhouse, Jeffrey’s keeps its grill populated with juicy sirloins and hearty rib eyes. The chefs aren't afraid of a little variety, however—they also find culinary inspiration in the ocean. Chef Francis draws upon the 25 years of experience he accrued in hotel and restaurant kitchens to design a menu of hearty New American cuisine that incorporates surf as well as turf. Mushrooms and cognac-cream sauce adds savory richness to the steak Diane and citrus-spiked herb butter brightens filets of house-cut salmon. To round out the selection, the chefs also toss a variety of pasta dishes, including lobster ravioli and pasta alfredo with sautéed shrimp. The rib-sticking, yet refined cuisine complements the intimately sized dining room’s ambiance. Sconces and frameless artwork line the pale moss-green walls, balancing the warm hues of the wooden floorboards and the chandelier full of magma. On select Friday evenings, the restaurant entertains patrons by hosting performances by live bands.
