This place has potential due to its location and outdoor patio, but needs ALOT of work. Walked in and place was completely empty. We actually had to walk all the way up to the kitchen to get seated. Sat down and noticed a kid (seemed like the kid of the owner) running around and actually serving food. The best part was when we saw 2 CATS, yes cats, running around the restaurant. My botfriend and I are pretty laid back, but I am sure thats why the place was empty. The food was Decent. Due to price and above circumstances, there is no way I would go back. Our bill would have been $50 without groupon. I wouldn't recommend this place.

We gave the Groupon coupon to the waitress before ordering. After we ordered our meal and had already started eating the appetizer and drinking the beverages, a man came to tell us that we had a "dinner" coupon and therefore we couldn't use the coupon, since it was 1pm. We asked why we had been allowed to order and start eating if this was the case. After some discussion in which it still wasn't clear whether he would honor the coupon or not, we left and handed the coupon back to the waitress. The salad and 2 beers we consumed came to $15 which was what we paid for the coupon.

I attempted to go Sat and when I called to make a reservation, I was told that they weren't serving dinner. Then I wanted to go on Mon. I called several times and no one answered the phone. I then called Tues and mentioned that I wanted to come by for dinner, had a Groupon and wanted to make a reservation. The guy who answered the phone was very rude. He said that I did not need a reservation and I asked for his name. He replied "for what? just come in". The only reason I asked for his name is because I have read reviews where people were told to come in and when they did, they were given a hard time. This place is a dump and the service is horrible.

The food was decent but the waitress didn't warn us about any "additional charges" that we had encountered. We ordered the averaged priced entrees and sides as told by the groupon, but turns out we ordered the wrong sides?. They didn't say a word about this and brought us the items + charged us extra for all the sides. The establishment needed to warn us of this since we told them prior to seating that we had a Groupon. Will not be going back.

Could use some aesthetic attention, but the food is good and the service was warm.

From Our Editors

In the late 19th century, many restaurants and bars were built with tin ceilings stamped in ornate designs. At The Corner Kitchen & Bar, these elaborate ceilings lend the bar area a vintage feel that offsets the menu's inventive dishes, cocktails, and servers riding hoverboards. The kitchen staff fires specialties such as pan-seared sea scallops with ginger-lime vinaigrette, sesame-crusted salmon, and delicate short ribs braised for at least six hours. On select evenings, The Corner Kitchen & Bar hosts live musicians who perform to the cadence of sizzling burgers and clinking glasses.
