About this Business

Though playing 120 concerts a year is a dream for some musicians, it's a reality for members of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. The classical musicians perform concerts at their home base, Kleinhans Music Hall, as well as throughout the U.S. In doing so, they introduce listeners to music ranging from Tchaikovsky to Duke Ellington, a task they've been up to since the orchestra's founding in 1934. In addition to performing live, they've also released a large number of CDs including Holiday Classics and Built for Buffalo that are available for sale.

I like the atmosphere and music was relaxing. It was great there quite a few food vendors to sample. I really enjoy the evening. Also the wine choice were good as well.

Not as many wineries as I expected, only a few. some of the wineries were great- some (Leonard Oakes)were not cordial and were very stingy with the taste...or should I say the spit of wine I received

I loved the performance and would recommend it enthusiastically. Kleinhan's is a wonderful venue. One of the top rated restaurants converted the basement of Kleinhan's into a dining room and serves gourmet dinner before the performance. Another local favorite eatery in a suburban area east of Buffalo provides a dinner package which includes a deluxe motor coach transportation to and from Kleinhan's. As Kleinhan's is in a neighborhood close to the downtown area, parking can be an issue.

The space was too cramped for the event Loved that there was live music playing while we tasted good food and wine

This was a lovely fundraising event for the BPO. The vendors were great with a nice selection of food samples and wine tastings. The music by Sal Andolina's group was wonderful. We also had the opportunity to visit with BPO musicians. We had a great time and look forward to this event next year!
