The company did honor my groupon after the expiry date, due to having difficulty booking a time prior to it expiring.
Yet, I have to say that I had the most upsetting experience with a rude and arrogant staff member. His interactions with me were very argumentative and close minded. He continuously interrupted me, accused me of being dishonest and then finally agreed to the work I requested once I was crying and extremely upset. I asked him to leave and he insisted that I would not get my money back so I reluctantly tried to get him to complete his work.
The groupon was for 3 bedrooms and one hallway. After a brief discussion regarding the additional cost to do the stairs, I asked him to simply do my main floor living room and a small landing instead of the other two rooms and a hallway. He refused to do the landing after he had referred to it as similar to a small hallway. Eventually, after arguments about the "rules" and "stated requests" that I had met (removed all items and furniture and vacuumed), he finally told me that it would be $20 for the landing. He also stated that I would not get my money back because he had arrived at my home and I was trying to "combine deals". The area I was hoping to have done was much smaller than the groupon deal. Overall the way he spoke to me and refused to hear me out was very upsetting. I will not be recommending them to anyone despite the adequate job they did on my carpets. The worker's customer service was hurtful and extremely upsetting.
I just thought this incident was significant enough to report it to you. Hopefully this can be addressed with the company and no other Groupon customer will be subjected to a similar experience.
