Clinical aesthetician Cassie Hunter believes the best way to improve skincare concerns is through science-based treatments. Inside the new Cass Clinical Med Spa, she uses technology, cosmetic injections, and skincare ingredients that have been proven to get results.
For example, she creates tiny controlled injuries to faces using a micro pen microneedling device. Several scientific papers have found that when applied by a professional, microneedling can stimulate collagen production and soften acne scars. She also stocks the Environ and Jane Iredale lines of skincare products, both of which contain such proven ingredients as salicylic acid (fights acne) and vitamin C (brightens skin).
