Long review - short version: DO NOT GO. Website made this place look elegant and beautiful. We arrived and were greeted immediately, and the older lady did not respect our personal space. A large dog also greeted us, rubbing on us and bumping us. The outside of the house wasn't awful, but did look old and ran down. Upon entering, the house looked dusty and dirty. We were led into a small room with dining tables set up. We found several fleas on us while we were waiting for the man to get to the room to do the wine tasting. We stepped up to the small bar, and he offered us a dry wine, barely pouring enough to even taste, but I suppose it was not a good wine anyway so it didn't matter. The next wine was better. And he offered us a bit of brandy that smelled and tasted exactly like a sharpie marker. The groupon came with a free bottle of wine, so we chose the second, sweet wine. (He only had 2 wines and the brandy for tasting!) He told us we could walk around. The house was very pretty, but very old and there were big obvious cobwebs and dust everywhere. We left after looking around. We got home and opened the bottle of wine, and were overwhelmed by the urine-esque scent. Trying to ignore it, we poured a glass. Unlike what he served us at the tasting, it was very cloudy! We tried it - and it tasted like urine too, very unlike what we had tasted there! It was so bad! We ended up dumping the bottle out and running to the local alcohol store for a decent bottle of wine. I would NEVER pay $5 for that wine, let alone $26!

We stayed for the dinner. It was a seven course meal with a wine pairing. Very delicious. Engaged in wonderful conversation with the owners. We went with another couple and all four of us had a delightful time.

We really enjoyed meeting the owners and learning about how they process their wines by hand. The stories Mr. O'Haro shared were very interesting and added another level to the wine tasting experience. The only disappointment we experienced was that the "Souvenir Glasses" advertised in the Groupon I purchased were no longer available. Mr. O'Haro explained that the glasses should not have been part of the offer. I don't know where the breakdown in communication occurred, but Groupon should look into that for the other purchasers.
