I didn't care so much for their take and bake pizza. I will stick to their regular pizza, they use very good ingredients and they taste great.

The pizza taste fine. But it's expensive pizza for a take and bake. Papa Murphy's just down the road is just as tasty without the Hugh price!!

Love the specialty pizzas. Fresh ingredients and different than the normal pizza toppings, very flavorful.

If you get the take and bake pizza, do not cook it on the crisper sheet (even though you're instructed to do so). It made our entire house smell like burning plastic, forcing us to open all of our windows to air the house out - not so great because it was about 40 degrees outside. The pizza is absolutely wonderful. though.

crust was thin, hard, and greasy, like a cross between thin crust and pan pizza. toppings were modest (would have liked more). good flavor combination, everything tasted fresh and seemed to be good quality! overall pizza did not look like what was on display at the restaurant, but tasted pretty good. this was our first time trying zpizza, so to be fair we will have to come back and try some baked in their oven.

From Our Editors

zpizza— voted best pizza in Raleigh by CitySearch and Best Pizza in Cary by WakeCary Magazine —is known for its inventive, California-style pizzas: think zesty Thai-style chicken pizza with peanut sauce and cilantro, or Mexican-style pizza loaded with taco fixings. But even a simple cheese or pepperoni pizza from zpizza is sure to be memorable. That's because the restaurant's cooks use only top-shelf ingredients in their brick-oven-baked pies, from the Montana winter wheat that goes into their hand-thrown crusts to the organic tomato sauce and Wisconsin skim mozzarella layered on top. Diners can customize pizzas with other toppings, including locally sourced meats, fresh produce, and gourmet ingredients such as truffle oil.
