It can be hot so bring water or purchase it in the arcade.

Everything was great except the clubs need to be wiped between customers -- they were a little sticky.:)

I've been looking for more activities to do with my 6-year-old son. Golfland is the kind of place I don't see in my daily driving, so hadn't considered it. Glad to know about the place now.

Golfland in Castro Valley is maintained very well and hosts some fun challenging courses for the non-golfer. It's staffed well and is very family friendly. The city of Castro Valley is one of my favorites too. The city has a very friendly downtown area with a small town feel. Go check it out!!!

We had a great time golfing at Golfland. The miniture golf course was a lot of fun. However, I wasn't very impressed with the arcade or the food. Nearly half of the arcade games were not working when we were there. Overall, the whole arcade room was very unkept. We decided to get lunch at Golfland, which was a big mistake. The food was awful. I recommend the miniture golfing at golfland, but I would avoid the arcade and food.

Great deal. I bought for my two boys as a treat....and it worked out great for them to be able to peewee golf and have arcade tokens!

They should sell food there, like hot dogs and hamburgers. They only have vending machines.

From Our Editors

Golfland debuted its first putt-putt green in 1953 and has since expanded to seven locations across California and Arizona. Each location features one to three 18-hole courses, replete with colorful castles, windmills, and fountains. After navigating the obstacle-filled fairways, guests can try their hands at an array of arcade games, whether felling foes in fighting games, stocking up on tickets to win prizes, or following the spellbinding plotline of a pinball game. At the San Jose location, visitors can cool off in the warmer months with a trip down parallel outdoor waterslides.
