Just realize folks that this is "traditional" Bikram yoga! Formal Bikram yoga is for a certain type of yogis, but not for everyone.

My first introduction was looking for 10 minutes to park, and then being too late to start a class, and the reception was less than friendly. I understand being on time is important, but a more sympathetic response would have been appropriate for a new customer. It put me off a bit, but my next encounter with an instructor was very nice. The class I went to was good, quite hard for a beginner like me, and a little regimented in my opinion. I have been to many Hot Yoga classes and they were a little more comfortable than the environment here.

I get the reasons for all the rules, but again, it is yoga, in 4 years of practicing, this is the most 'strict' I have seen, and I thought yoga in itself is not supposed to be bound by so many 'rules'. Again, I get the reasons, and the atmosphere that is being created from it, but I think it is a little much to be posted, etc. I was more concerned about accidentally 'breaking a rule' than focusing on my practice.
